No ads, no tracking, no selling anything.
When someone claims a spot, Dibs stores the time of the claim and, only if the creator asked, the name they chose to enter. IP addresses are transformed into one-way hashes for abuse controls; temporary rate-limit records expire automatically.
A secure cookie remembers a claim for 30 days so reopening the link shows the win again instead of spending another spot. The creator’s browser remembers manager links so they can get back to their dibs.
Links and claim records are deleted after their retention window. Information is used only to run Dibs, prevent abuse, and respond to reports. It isn’t used for advertising or shared for marketing.
